A light left on.

A warm shopfront anchors a quiet night scene. I built this environment to practice the complete scene pipeline, from modeling and materials to lighting in Unreal Engine.

The small details carry the atmosphere: rusted metal, signage, wet pavement, and the contrast between the lit interior and the street outside.

Let the surfaces tell time.

I created a rusted metal material in Substance Designer for the walls and scattered panels. For the pavement, three blended textures reduce visible repetition, while height-based puddles and vertex painting add variation in UE5.

An ordinary afternoon, held still.

A compact kitchen becomes a study in sunlight, materials, and the traces of daily life. I worked through the same modeling-to-engine process, using the window light to bring the room together.

This is a work-in-progress environment study based on a 2D visual reference.

FROM REFERENCE TO REAL-TIME SPACE

Both scenes are personal 3D studies informed by 2D references. My work covers the environment modeling, materials, lighting, and engine integration.
